This Privacy Policy explains how GEOmonitorai ("we", "us") handles information when you visit geomonitorai.com, use our free tools, contact us, or become a client. GEOmonitorai is operated by VALTARIQ.

1. Information we collect
When you visit our website
We use a self-hosted, privacy-focused analytics system. It records pages viewed, referring sites, device and browser type, and approximate country. It does not set cookies. IP addresses are used only briefly to derive approximate location and are masked before storage.
Our web server also keeps standard access logs (time, requested page, IP address, user agent) for security and to measure which crawlers visit our site.
When you use the robots.txt checker
The checker runs entirely in your browser. The robots.txt content and paths you enter are not uploaded to our servers. We may record that the tool was used, without its content.
When you contact us
If you use our contact form, email or messaging apps, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, company, website and message. The contact form is delivered through Formspree, a third-party form service, which processes the submission on our behalf.
When you become a client
To provide monitoring, we receive the following from your website:
- Browser analytics from a tracking script you add to your pages, handled as described above.
- Access logs from your web server or CDN, sent by a log collector or integration you install. Logs contain request details such as time, path, status code and user agent. IP addresses are used during processing and masked before storage, and query strings are removed from paths.
- Account information such as your name and email address if we create a dashboard login for you.
If you connect a Cloudflare account, we store the authorization credentials encrypted and use them only to manage the log delivery for the domain you selected.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, maintain and improve our monitoring, audits and reports
- reply to enquiries and arrange audits
- protect our website and services against abuse
- understand how our website is used, in aggregate
We do not use client log data for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
3. Third parties
We use a small number of service providers:

4. Where data is stored
Our platform runs on servers in Singapore. If you are located elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in Singapore.
5. How long we keep data
- Website analytics and server logs: as long as needed for the purposes above, then deleted or aggregated.
- Enquiries: as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up.
- Client monitoring data: for the duration of the service. When a client stops the service, they can ask us to delete their website's data and we will do so.
Database backups are kept for a limited period, typically up to 14 days, before they are overwritten.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop processing it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Contact us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Clients can stop monitoring at any time by removing the tracking script and stopping the log collector, and can ask us to delete their data.
7. Security
We use HTTPS, encrypt stored integration credentials, restrict access to our servers, and keep each client's data separate. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information we hold.
8. Children
Our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
